font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-size: large;">ఆరంభ సన్నివేశాలు చాలా డల్‌గా, అవుట్‌ డేటెడ్‌గా అనిపిస్తాయి. విష్ణు, కేథరీన్‌ మధ్య ప్రేమ సన్నివేశాలు... కృష్ణుడు-మేల్కోటే మధ్య కామెడీ దృశ్యాలు ముప్పయ్యేళ్ల క్రితం వచ్చిన సినిమా చూస్తున్న ఫీలింగ్‌ ఇస్తాయి. తాత పాత్ర తెర మీదకి వచ్చాక కాసేపు సరదాగా సాగుతుంది. అపార్ట్‌మెంట్‌ కాంప్లెక్స్‌లోని ఫౌంటేన్‌లో స్నాన్నం చేయడం, అక్కడే బట్టలు ఉతికి ఆరేసుకోవడం లాంటివి కాస్త అతిగా అనిపించినా కానీ కామెడీ అనుకుని సరిపెట్టుకోవాలి. తాతా మనవళ్ల అనుబంధానికి సంబంధించిన సన్నివేశాలు మినహా మిగతావన్నీ ఆర్టిఫిషియల్‌గా, ఫోర్స్‌డ్‌గా అనిపిస్తాయి. ఇండిపెండెంట్‌ వుమన్‌ అయిన కేథరీన్‌ క్యారెక్టర్‌ అలా ఒక పెద్దాయనని అమితంగా ద్వేషించడం పాత్రోచితంగా అనిపించదు. </span></div> <div style="background-color: white; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-size: large;">ద్వితీయార్థంలో సినిమా మూడ్‌ పూర్తిగా మారిపోతుంది. డ్రామా పాళ్లు ఎక్కువై రిలీఫ్‌కి ప్లేస్‌ లేకుండా పోతుంది. దాంతో కామెడీ కోసమని బ్రహ్మానందంపై కాకుల ఎపిసోడ్‌ ఒకటి తీసారు. అది నవ్వించకపోగా... సినిమాకే అతి పెద్ద తలనొప్పిగా మారింది. సెంటిమెంట్‌ సీన్లు, ఇతర పాత్రలు తాత గొప్పతనం తెలుసుకునే సన్నివేశాలు అన్నీ గతంలో చూసినవే కావడంతో కొత్తదనం లేకుండా పోయింది. లాస్ట్‌ సీన్‌ మాత్రం ఎమోషనల్‌గా చాలా ఎఫెక్టివ్‌గా అనిపిస్తుంది. ఆ లెవల్‌ ఎమోషన్స్‌ సినిమాలో ఎక్కువగా ఉండి ఉంటే సెంటిమెంట్‌ ప్రియులని అయినా ఎర్రబస్సు శాటిస్‌ఫై చేసి ఉండేది. లీడ్‌ క్యారెక్టర్స్‌తో కనెక్ట్‌ ఏర్పడకపోవడంతో  ఆ పాత్రలు గురయ్యే భావోద్వేగాలతో ప్రేక్షకులకి సంబంధం లేకుండా పోయింది. ఇలాంటి సినిమాలకి లీడ్‌ క్యారెక్టర్‌తో ఎమోషనల్‌ బాండ్‌ చాలా అవసరం. అలా పాత్రల్ని  ప్రేక్షకులు ఓన్‌ చేసుకునేలా చేయడంలో ఎర్రబస్సు విఫలమైంది. పాత కాలం పద్ధతుల్లో సాగే కథనం, రిలీఫ్‌కి చోటివ్వని ద్వితీయార్థం.. ఎర్రబస్సు జర్నీని కష్టతరం చేస్తుంది.</span></div> <div style="background-color: white;
